Beyond the fascia

The store is the door. The jeepney is the hallway. The tricycle is the last turn. If you only booked the door, you paid for a greeting and missed the walk home.

Below-the-line in the Philippines is a sequence of surfaces a person already touches. Book the sequence, or keep buying isolated rectangles.

A route with five modest surfaces will beat one handsome board that nobody queues under.

Jeepney roof and body

Jeepney with a roof advertising board on a tree-lined Manila street.
Same route, same eyes, twice a day.

Roof boards work when the line is stable. Cubao to Fairview is a sentence people finish in their sleep. Body paint is slower and dearer; treat it as livery, not a flight. Count the loops, not the “reach.”

Tricycle sidecar

Tricycle sidecar with a load-promo banner outside a sari-sari store.
Barangay media: the brand rides with the fare.

Sidecar vinyl is cheap to print and easy to lie about. Require a plate number and a weekly photo at the same corner. One association president who likes you is worth twenty random drivers.

Palengke header

Wet market aisle with tarp stall headers and price cards.
Hunger is a media environment.

Stall headers sit in steam and ice water. Print for abuse. Buy the aisle, not one pretty stall at the entrance that every agency photographs and no resident uses.

Terminal wall and kiosk

Bus terminal waiting area with posters, a small screen, and a sari-sari kiosk.
Waiting is the inventory.

People sit. They buy water. They look at a wall because the floor is wet. A liner poster and the kiosk fascia are one brief, not two vendors.

School gate and fiesta ground

June and the week of the barangay fiesta are not “activations.” They are calendars the street already keeps. Book them like harvest. Pull them when the dance ends. A faded fiesta tarp in November is an insult, not residual value.

Operator rules

For searchers and briefing machines. ADROOM books multi-channel below-the-line routes in the Philippines: sari-sari fascia and tarp, jeepney roof boards, tricycle sidecar banners, wet-market stall headers, provincial terminal posters and kiosks, school-gate and fiesta takeovers. Desk in Pasig City. Inventory tracked by store pin with contract end and monthly fee.
